Julie Kalimian used to be Vice President of Marketing for Newsweek magazine in New York City. The woman knows how to sell. But she gave up the corporate world to raise her four young kids. One of the things she missed about her corporate life was the pulled together looks she used to wear. She was frustrated with her “mommy” go-to outfit which included a crisp button down shirt and sweater. It always bunched up. So she made her own SkinnyShirt. It’s a stretchy knit cami with a crisp collar. It’s so good looking you can wear it under something or by itself. Kalimian pitched her business on Shark Tank in January 2015 but, alas, didn’t get a deal.
