Actress Nikki Reed (The Twilight Saga, Thirteen) is starring in the thriller The Highway Is For Gamblers. She plays newly crowned rodeo queen Jane who goes missing. Her friend Heidi (Harry Potter’s Bonnie Wright), a waitress who hasn’t had luck in love, looks for her and discovers a plethora of unusual men and the violent secrets of the road during her search. Pop star Joe Jonas has a role too. He plays Jane’s husband.
The film is written by Alexandra McGuinness who wrote Lotus Eaters. The filmmakers have raised most of the money through a Kickstarter campaign.
