Jackie Cole, aka Jax, on American Idol has been working hard on her music and her look. The girl from Atlantic City, NJ can sing – judge JLo was impressed with her version of Sublime’s Love Is What I Got. But Jax knows you need more than a strong voice to make it. She’s learned a lot over the years, meeting young singing sensations like Cody Simpson, Selena Gomez, and the Jonas Brothers, backstage.
According to her Facebook page, she took on the Avril Lavigne look the day after meeting Selena Gomez, in 2011. She became a blond and added the X. It’s her signature look. Now if she’d only ditch that baseball hat.
