US Women’s National Team star goalkeeper Hope Solo was recently charged with two counts of fourth-degree assault involving her half-sister and her son, Solo’s teenage nephew. As we reported earlier, last week, a judge dismissed the case against her.
On Monday morning, Solo was involved in an altercation with Los Angeles police. Her husband, former NFL tight end Jerramy Stevens, was arrested for DUI, according to TMZ Sports. Solo was with him and reportedly “acting belligerent.” Sources said the cops were “close” to arresting Solo for disorderly conduct. Stevens was convicted of drunken driving in Arizona in 2007 and was given a 30-day jail sentence. He was also arrested for marijuana possession in 2010. And the night before marrying Solo in 2012, police were called to investigate a misdemeanor domestic violence assault against Solo. No charges were filed. So far Solo is skirting consequences. Will it last?
