Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) recently ended its broadcasting relationship with Spike and has partnered with Discovery Communications. Some of TNA’s most popular wrestlers include Kurt Angle, Jeff Hardy, Gail Kim, Mr. Anderson, Abyss, Eric Young, Ethan Carter III, the Wolves and Awesome Kong. If you haven’t heard of any of those wrestlers, you’re not alone. TNA considers itself the second largest professional wrestling promotion company in the US after WWE, but it lags far behind the star power of its rival.
When TNA president Dixie Carter was asked this week, “If you could sign any wrestler from anywhere in the world today, who would that be,” she replied Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock. “I’ve never met him but I’m a big fan,” Carter said. As president of WWE’s “only competition” Carter should make it her business to know The Rock.
