86-year-old Lee Wachstetter is a widow. You could say she’s from Florida–and indeed she was–but these days she lives at sea. Honoring advice her husband gave her before he died in 1997, Lee now makes her home full-time on a cruise ship. She and her husband had cruised all over the world together and he told her “never stop cruising.” She never has.
Lee lived on the Holland America for years, but now lives on the Crystal Serenity. The Holland, she told USA Today, made the mistake of cancelling their dance program. (She gave them the 86-year-old widow version of WTF?) The luxury life style costs Lee about $164,000 a year. But the dancing after dinner for two hours every night? Priceless.
