Actor Mark Hamill (best known as Luke Skywalker of Star Wars) will reprise his other role as The Trickster on The CW’s The Flash series. Nearly twenty years ago, Hamill donned the green mask in the 1990s Flash series on CBS. This time around, Hamill will portray a new iteration of the Trickster. He’s described as “an anarchist terrorist con man serving a life sentence in Iron Heights who helps Barry (Grant Gustin) and Detective West (Jesse L. Martin) to foil the city-wide attacks of a wannabe Trickster eagerly following in the original’s deadly footsteps.”
Things are looking brighter for Hamill. 2015 will be a big year for the actor who will return to his Skywalker role, too, in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It was just a year ago when Hamill was seen picking through a public ashtray for discarded cigarettes and driving a car with a handicap permit.
