Joakim Noah is a great basketball player. He’s the heart and soul of the Chicago Bulls. A beloved effort player who does all the intangibles coaches love, Noah’s sweat actually defines him more than any particular skill he has. So it makes some sense that because Noah has actually sweated in these red Adidas in a real NBA game, this would increase their value. (The Shroud of Turin though, it isn’t.)
Still given that Noah, like most players with a major equipment endorsement deal, gets a new pair of shoes for every game, how could these red Adidas possibly be worth $739.95? There’s not much scarcity in the market–with 82 games in the regular season, plus playoffs. And it’s not like 2013-14–during which Noah wore and signed these kicks–was a championship season for the Bulls.
