Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev is big in Russia–second in power only to Vladimir Putin. But otherwise he’s no giant. Now as if to prove the age-old notion that adolescent insecurities never go away, Medvedev is wearing platform dress shoes as he performs his official duties. Russian leadership may not see eye to eye these days with most other world leaders, but the 5-foot, 3-inch Prime Minister Medvedev sure is trying!
Check out the photo of Medvedev meeting with Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev. All the trouble Medvedev goes through to give himself a height enhancement and they go and have him sit in a chair. If he’s going to have to sit and negotiatate, Medvedev may need a new strategem. Maybe he could talk to Kim Kardashian about heightening from the buttocks–add a little extra cushion there, you know?
