They say the best players make their teammates better. The beating heart of the Chicago Bulls, Joakim Noah, is such a team guy he helps out even when he’s not on the court. See the Vine below (thanks Ricky O’Donnell) of Noah going rabidly crazy from the bench trying to distract Clippers point guard Chris Paul in LA this week. That’s what coach Tom Thibodeau wants out of his team–and no other team in the league brings ferocious madness and pure desire on D like the Bulls.
We made a ridiculous (but fun) case for Noah to win the MVP last year. Those things that can’t be measured in the stats? Joakim Noah does ALL of them. Like defend from the sidelines! The day the NBA gives a player like this the MVP is the day it’ll be a better league, and kids watching will be better for it. The Bulls ripped the Clippers in LA without Derrick Rose or Pau Gasol. MVP… MVP.
