The reinvigorated, uninjured Kobe Bryant leads the NBA in scoring. Kobe got 33 last night in New Orleans, but once again it wasn’t enough as the Lakers logged another in the loss column. Notable about this game was how it was a time capsule, one of those games that people may look back on the way they look at that photo of JFK shaking hands with a teenage Bill Clinton.
Because the future of NBA greatness was here and his name is Anthony Davis. Davis had 25 points and 12 rebounds to go with six blocks in the Pelican victory, using his length and athleticism to change the game in far more ways than any numbers can indicate. Pelicans over Lakers 109-102.
