The way things are changing in Cleveland, it’ll be a surprise if at the end of the year the city is still in Ohio. Sporting a very new roster with (have you heard?!) LeBron James and Kevin Love joining Kyrie Irving and company, the Cavs find themselves suddenly new league ambassadors. As such they’ll play against their new natural nemesis, the Miami Heat, on Saturday in, of all places, Brazil. It’s the biggest thing to happen in Brazil since….actually, Brazil just hosted the best World Cup in decades and this is just a basketball game. But anyway the Cavs are breaking out their new uniforms.
Many teams are adding alternatives to the traditional home and away jerseys–both to keep up with the sartorial splendor of the new breed of NBA fashion plate, and to have another item to sell. Check out the new Cavs blues, which Cleveland finally hopes it can stop singing.
