The country trio Lady Antebellum performed a 15-song set on a live webcast on Yahoo last night. They performed songs from their new (sixth) album, 747. The audience seemed to dig it. Especially one man in particular. Wearing beat-up jeans and a dusty cowboy hat he jumped onto the stage and danced his little Napoleon Dynamite heart out. Apparently the zealous dancing fan wanted the band to sign his new Lady Antebellum CD. That’s what he was waving when swept away by security.
Another strange interruption came from Lady A singer Hillary Scott. She spoke about what it’s like to write songs like Sounded Good at the Time while becoming a new mother. She told the audience she would write a line or two and then have to “go to the next room to pump.” Fellow Lady A musician Charles Kelley piped in “Here’s to breast pumps!”
Here’s Yahoo video of the stage crasher.
