Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Kyle Orton is said to have had a bad relationship with fellow Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. According to Ed Werder at ESPN, majordomo Romo is one reason Orton left Dallas. Orton, a former Purdue Boilermaker, spent the past two seasons with the Cowboys before being cut in July. Orton “hated the offensive power struggle” in Dallas and skipped the team’s offseason workouts for which he was fined $70,000.
Things don’t always end up badly just because it doesn’t work out with Tony Romo. Just like Romo’s old flame Jessica Simpson, who moved on and married former 49ers tight end Eric Johnson, Kyle Orton has moved on and found a new home in Buffalo with the Bills–his fifth NFL team. Nine-year veteran Orton will start for the Bills on Sunday in place of first-round pick EJ Manuel. The Bills (2-2) face the Detroit Lions (3-1) at Ford Field.
