LA Lakers point guard Steve Nash has been spending a lot of time in court trying to settle a nasty child custody battle with his ex-wife, movie producer Alejandra Amarilla. And now Nash won’t be able to spend as much time on the basketball court, as he’s just been ruled out for the 2014-2015 season due to a back injury. Nash played only 15 games last season so this announcement puts the 40-year-old, two-time NBA MVP point guard’s career in doubt.
When with the Phoenix Suns in 2010, Nash announced his separation from Amarilla after nine years of marriage. The announcement was delivered the same day Amarilla gave birth to their third child, a son named Mateo. The two other children are twin daughters, who are now 10 years old.
