Marvel announced that actor Dominic Cooper is reprising his role as Howard Stark for the TV series Marvel’s Agent Carter, set to debut in 2015. Cooper is a diverse actor. He played Amanda Seyfried’s fiance in Mamma Mia!, co-starred with Keira Knightley in The Duchess and stars as Ian Fleming in the British WWII TV series Fleming. If you haven’t seen any of those, then you’ve seen Cooper in those IBM cloud commercials meant to rattle business owners into believing their data isn’t safe without the help of the International Business Machines Corporation.
Another thing Cooper is concerned about is his native land, the United Kingdom. He was one of the 200 celebrities who signed a letter to The Guardian last month opposing Scottish independence. Others in the entertainment industry who signed the list include: Helena Bonham Carter, Simon Cowell, Dame Judi Dench, Eddie Izzard, Sir Mick Jagger, Bryan Ferry and David Gilmour.
