Tyra Banks appeared on Andy Cohen’s talk show Watch What Happens Live and revealed that she’s going to produce Life-Size 2, a sequel to the 2000 TV movie she starred in with Lindsay Lohan. Banks played a Barbie doll brought to life by a little girl (Lohan) grieving the death of her mother. Life Size is well-regarded by Disney fans–and it’s proved durable. In 2007, KJ Proxlux wrote on RottenTomatoes: “A lovable family adventure for the entire family. It seems like it has been somehow done before, but so what?” And what’s better than a life-size Tyra Banks?
The original Life Size was written and directed by Hilary Duff’s right hand man, Mark Rosman. He directed Duff’s Disney TV show Lizzie McGuire and her films A Cinderella Story and The Perfect Man. Banks is under contract with Disney, so maybe she’ll get the next Hilary Duff instead of the next Lohan this time.
