It’s a $10 fast food sandwich that lingers in the mind like Sasquatch. In fact like Sasquatch the Meat Mountain sandwich from Arby’s is mostly legend. Few have seen actually it, though the encounters on record have produced breathless stories.
Trying to combat a perception that all it served was roast beef, Arby’s posted a stacked pic of all the different meats and items available on its sandwiches. After all, Arby’s tagline is “We have the meats.” That would be brisket, angus steak, corned beef, bacon, ham, roast turkey, chicken tenders and yes, roast beef. (Couple of kinds of cheese, too!) Customers saw the stack and wanted it all. On one sandwich. Arby’s, being a 21st century customer-first company, complied and instructed its employees to build the special Meat Mountain for anyone who asked. It’s not on the menu. You need to be in the know. You can find it on The Washington Post twitter feed too, along with lots of other news that could give you a heart attack.
