While major American media outlets (ABC News, FoxSports, USAToday) continue to cover the nuisance of spectators taking selfies on the sidelines of the Tour de France, European media is reporting on the race. Big news today: 2013 Tour de France champion Chris Froome had to quit after his third crash. (And quick note about the boring selfie story: people take selfies along all those roads in France even when there isn’t a big bike race. You know this–you’ve had to look at selfies of your friends there.)
But back to the race. Good news for the dwindling coterie of fans in the States: American Andrew Talansky (#9) and Tejay Van Garderen (#12) are still in it. You can find and follow their overall time standings at Yahoo! Sport (the UK and Ireland version).
