Lands’ End is launching a new line of girls’ shirts with a science theme – designs that include images of planets, etc. It’s a response to many complaints by customers/parents who have easily found science-themed tees for boys but not girls. The only thing that came close to science or the solar system in the Lands’ End girls’ section were some non-realistic looking stars.
Lands’ End continues to distinguish between boys “mighty” tees and “adorable” tees for girls. The first new space-themed item of girls is a long sleeve graphic shirt with a feminine scalloped edge.
