Kegels, though fun to say, are hard to do. At least that’s the claim of kGoal, a Kickstarter-backed vagina zinger that can deliver tingling rewards to a woman who performs the pelvic exercises properly. The pelvic muscles don’t get a regular workout–not like your calves anyway. That’s why pregnant women are urged to practice kegels to gain control of what’s normally part of an involuntary muscle mechanism. A woman who masters the art of kegels gains more control over pregnancy and post-pregnancy recovery–not to mention better bladder control and a bit more, well, core strength.
Then there’s the pleasure such control affords–successful kegels are a step toward Tantric sexual bliss. Bliss, in fact, is a specialty of San Francisco-based kGoal creator, MinnaLife, an engineering and health company that specializes in holistic, titillating devices. kGoal is a two-fer: a smart device and an app that helps track progress in getting strong down below. It’s really a new level of personalization. It’s not exactly buy one, get one free–unless by one you mean…nevermind.
