Sword Swallower Dan Meyer is competing on Season 11 of America’s Got Talent. It’s not Meyer’s first time on AGT. He made it to the Vegas Round during Season 3 but didn’t receive enough votes to advance. Sword Swallower is a bit of a misnomer, as Meyer swallows many things other than swords – including fire and glass. Although swords remain his bread and butter, so to speak. He holds the Guinness World Record for swallowing up to 21 swords at once.
Meyer once worked with the World’s Shortest Man, Khagendra Thapa Magar, who stands 22 inches tall. Below is a video of Magar pulling a sword out of Meyer’s mouth. Note: Meyer is six feet tall. If Meyer advances further on AGT, maybe he’ll call in Magar. America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays on NBC.
