American Idol contestant Quentin Alexander is the fashionable 20-year-old from New Orleans. Although he grew up in the rough Ninth Ward, where “I couldn’t go out and play,” he developed a unique style when it comes to dressing. In Hollywood, he appears on stage wearing a Superfly-esque coat.
All the judges are impressed with Quentin’s stage presence. After he sings Vance Joy’s “Riptide,” Keith Urban gave him a standing ovation, and JLo yelled, “I love it!” Fellow New Orleans native Harry Connick, Jr. may ultimately make or break Quentin. Can he represent?
