Get ready to see more of NFL quarterback Matthew Stafford as he starts his third season with the Los Angeles Rams. The 35-year-old played college football at Georgia before he was selected first overall by the Detroit Lions in the 2009 NFL Draft.
In 2021, Stafford and the Lions mutually agreed to part ways. Stafford was traded to the Rams and during his first season in L.A., he led the Rams to Super Bowl LVI, which they won over the Cincinnati Bengals.
While the 2022-23 season was a disappointment for the Rams — their 12 losses marked the most in NFL history for a defending Super Bowl champion — Stafford is looking forward to the 2023 season. According to the post below, so is his wife of eight years, Kelly Stafford.
When Ms. Stafford recently shared the photo series above — of her wearing a number of cutout dresses with thigh-high slits with her husband by her side, she wrote: “Wedding season is officially over… just in time for another type of season to begin. My wedding date was a damn good time and a very attractive guy as well.”
Her fans approve of her fashion sensibility. As one fan replied: “absolutely killing every look.” Another chimed in: “Kelly be styling in them dresses yo.” Another wrote: “Touchdown!”
When the Staffords left Detroit for L.A., Ms. Stafford shared the photo below of her with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition ‘Rookie of the Year’ model Christen Harper, fiancee of Jared Goff, the new QB for the Detroit Lions.
Stafford (mother of four young daughters) wrote to Harper: “Hey Christen I know we traded cities, but wanna trade jobs? You take the four kids and I’ll attempt SI Swimsuit,” with a laughing crying emoji. She added, “In all seriousness, I miss Detroit everyday but it’s been in such good hands with you and Jared.”
Fun fact: While at Georgia, Stafford met cheerleader Kelly Hall, sister of former NFL player and current Jacksonville Jaguars wide receivers coach Chad Hall.
