Canadian actor and country musician Alexander Ludwig is known for his roles in the 2012 movie The Hunger Games (Cato), in the 2020 film Bad Boys for Life (Dorn), and as the almighty Björn Ironside in the long-running History Channel series Vikings (2014–2020), among others.
When not promoting his new project, director Guy Ritchie‘s movie The Covenant starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Ludwig spends time with his wife, Lauren Ludwig, who just delivered the couple’s first born baby.
According to the new mom, the baby (it’s a girl!) came four weeks early, while her husband was out of town on location for his next project. Luckily, he was able to “come back just in time.”
When she shared the photos above, of her husband (who just turned 31) holding their daughter, Leni, one fan replied: “HUNKKK of a dad” while another chimed in, “Wow hot dad alert!!!!!”
And when Alexander’s former Vikings co-star Katheryn Winnick saw the closeup of the baby above, she replied: “I’m in love already!!!” with a series of red heart emojis. (Vikings fans are applauding Winnick’s comment and are referring Winnick as the baby’s “Viking grandmother.”
Get ready to see more of Ludwig: He will appear next on the big screen in the upcoming fourth installment of Bad Boys with Will Smith, Martin Lawrence and Vanessa Hudgens, among others. The cast started filming in Atlanta and Miami in April.
