Hollywood movie star Robert Downey, Jr. is known for his roles in the 1980s (Weird Science, Less Than Zero), in the 1992 biopic Chaplin, and more recently in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Tony Stark aka Iron Man, among others.
The 58-year-old actor and producer is currently rocking a shaved head at SXSW (see above), where (according to the popular conference) Downey is talking about “the true scope of the online crime crisis in the US” and is taking “a look inside the minds of cybercriminals, and solutions on how we can fight back.”
When Downey shared the photo from the SXSW panel above (swipe to get a better look at his golden boots), he captioned it: “here to master the digisphere.”
Working as a ‘proud partner’ with the company Aura, Downey says in the video above, online crime cost American families about $7 billion last year. Aura is described as an “all-in-one digital safety solution to protect your family from fraud and online threats.” No word on how much Downey is being compensated for the partnership with Aura.
