On the day former President Donald Trump was arrested in Manhattan, fellow reality TV star (Keeping Up with the Kardashians) and Olympic gold medalist Caitlyn Jenner (born William Bruce Jenner) shared the photo below of the two celebrities in a tight handshake.
Jenner captioned it: “The most resilient man in America. He never loses sight of what matters or what’s at stake – The American People.”
While some of Jenner’s followers are reacting to the photo and sentiment by claiming to unfollow her, others are thanking Jenner “for representing LGBT conservatives who are a minority in a minority.” Others are asking if Jenner has thought her support all the way through, saying “Did you forget that you’re trans and that his party supports anti-trans laws?”
Jenner often shares her opinion on Fox News, too. In the clip above, Jenner addresses President Biden’s position and the furor over a trans-friendly interpretation of Title IX in women’s sports.
Jenner says: “Now they want to erase women’s sports! Everyday the assault on women’s sports and women to appease the radical rainbow mafia gets worse under this administration!”
Jenner wasn’t always in Trump’s corner, or at least in the past has expressed some disappointment in the “most resilient man.” In 2018, Jenner wrote an opinion piece for the Washington Post entitled: “I thought Trump would help trans people. I was wrong.”
