Hollywood movie star Andrew McCarthy is known for his roles in a wide variety of movies including Class, Mannequin, Less Than Zero, Weekend at Bernie’s, and in Brat Pack movies including Pretty in Pink and St. Elmo’s Fire, among others.
McCarthy, who’s now 60, occasionally posts photos with his famous friends. As seen below with The Blacklist star James Spader.
McCarthy and Spader were in three movies together: Pretty in Pink, Mannequin, and Less Than Zero. The photo above was taken from the set of The Blacklist, when McCarthy directed an episode.
Above is a photo of McCarthy visiting his St. Elmo’s Fire co-star Emilio Estevez (son of Martin Sheen, brother of Charlie Sheen).
With the photo — they’re wearing similar blue denim button down shirts! — McCarthy also reveals that the two actors “share the Camino de Santiago.” Estevez made a film about the pilgrimage to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia (The Way), while McCarthy just wrote a book about walking the famous route with his son Sam (Walking With Sam), considered one of the three great pilgrimages of Christendom.
