In the Young Sheldon episode ‘Future Worf and the Margarita of the South Pacific,’ while the young genius Sheldon (Iain Heritage) and his twin sister Missy (Raegan Revord) try to help the family’s finances, their mother, Mary (Zoe Perry), struggles to find her footing without the church.
As seen in the video above, Mary bumps into her former church colleague Nigel (Jason Rogel) at the bowling alley, where Mary now works.
When Nigel introduces Mary to his cute friend Shannon (Francesca Xuereb), the young woman remembers Mary as her babysitter — the one who used to make out with her boyfriend and hit her father’s liquor cabinet “pretty hard.” Embarrassed, Mary says she was young and hadn’t found the Lord yet and walks away.
Turns out Mary really was a “fun-o” in her youth.
Young Sheldon airs Thursdays at 8 pm on CBS, right before Ghosts at 8:30 pm and So Help Me Todd at 9 pm.
