The Philadelphia 76ers had a disappointing finish to last season, with newly acquired superstar James Harden flying a little too far under the radar during their tough playoff exit. But Sixers fans saw the light anyway — and his name is Tyrese Maxey.
Maxey came into his own last season, going into overdrive so often that he became the clear Philly fan favorite. And then this summer, Maxey apparently really went to work. So much so that an article at NBA.com is all about Maxey being the only player for whom NBA training camp may actually mean playing less basketball. Go figure.
they are them.

Maxey has that on-court quality — a determined grace — that draws even casual fans in. He’s both aggressive and smooth, while many players are either one or the other.
Even when Maxey is taking on some side work as a Russell Westbrook-like fashion model, he needs to have a ball in his hands while he’s rocking the drip…
The Saks Man Maxey, as Saks Fifth Avenue Menswear says, is here “showing off fall’s top tunnel-worthy fits.” And the 76ers and Maxey know that they really only start taking photos of you in the tunnels when you go deep in the playoffs. Maxey, Joel Embiid and their fellow Sixers are ready for their close-ups.
