Former star of The Real Housewives of New York City Bethenny Frankel has made millions from her lifestyle brand Skinnygirl. The registered brand name (with its recognizable skinny silhouette wearing a red top) started out selling low-calorie alcoholic drinks, including wine, vodkas, margaritas and ready-to-serve cocktails.
Frankel sold Skinnygirl Cocktails (and kept the name rights) for a reported $100 million in 2011. The Skinnygirl brand has expanded over the years and now sells coffee, salad dressing, jeans, hair care and skin care, among other products.
In 2017, Frankel made her debut as a guest Shark on Shark Tank, sitting next to billionaire Mark Cuban. See photo above.
Frankel was not a guest on the Shark Tank episode when Cuban invested $640,000 in Prank-O, a company that makes gag gift boxes. The boxes (which are empty) advertise novelty products that don’t exist.
Prank-O is now selling Sloppy Girl Wine labels as seen below…
Prank-O’s pitch: “Slap a Sloppy Girl wine label on your high-class bottle of wine for your next party for strange looks and conversation. Removeable adhesive (like a Post Note) let’s you peel off and use again.”
