Dreamland Baby is a line of weighted baby blankets described as “sacks” as babies sleep in them similar to a sleeping bag (or sack). Poly pellets are sewn in the top cotton layer to give the sacks an added weight which reportedly helps fussy babies relax and sleep.
The entrepreneur and mother of four behind Dreamland Baby, Tara Williams, pitched her product on Season 11 of Shark Tank. The episode originally aired in May 2020.
Tara went into the Tank seeking an investment of $100,000 in exchange for 10 percent equity. At the last minute, Tara accepts an offer from the Queen of QVC Lori Greiner: $100,000 for 22.5 percent. [Related: 27 Favorite ‘Shark Tank’ Products at Amazon]
One day before the Shark Tank episode re-airs (on Friday, July 10 at 8 pm on ABC), Dreamland Baby reports: “For those of you who didn’t watch last time, we made A DEAL!”
Despite the competition, things are obviously going pretty well in Dreamland! And to celebrate the re-airing, Dreamland Baby says: “We are bringing back the Shark Tank exclusive: 15% off & FREE SHIPPING on all orders through when you use the code SHARKTANK2 at checkout.”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
