Charles cites his own example: he says his famous second act as a commentator and media personality is nothing compared to the thrill of playing hoops when he was in his prime. And it can’t be — that’s natural.
Charles believes LeBron James, who has ample and broad interests to pursue after he retires from the NBA, will face the same situation.
Charles says about LeBron: “he might do some great things off the court, whatever, but it ain’t nothing gonna be like when he was LeBron James at the peak of his superpowers.”
