On The Profit episode “Hatbox & Ramp,” investor Marcus Lemonis travels to Austin, Texas to check out the Hatbox. Lemonis is intrigued by the fast-growing accessory business and is immediately impressed the moment he walks into the hat shop.
When he meets the owner of Hatbox, Lauri Turner, she tries to find a hat for him and is told that he has “a significant sized cranium.” When he replies with a smile, “You mean I have a big head,” she replies, “Above average.”

Lemonis is also impressed with the separate room in the shop, where the premium, higher end, one-of-a-kind hats are kept. Turner shows him a hat in a display case that is by Kate Middleton’s milliner, Rosie Olivia, and explains that she wears white gloves in the room so the oils from her hands don’t get onto the hats.
