A songwriting partnership is an intimate bond — and when the results of that partnership go to #1 on the charts, well the bond only grows stronger. The enormously talented Selena Gomez has plenty of people to thank for her #1 hit “Lose You To Love Me” — but right at the top is pop genius Justin Tranter. And this week Gomez got to give the awesome-looking Tranter a big award…
You might think the great looking mascara master Tranter was mostly about enchanting the eyes. But no, Tranter makes magic mostly for the ears. Tranter has collaborated with such artists as Britney Spears, Gwen Stefani, Kelly Clarkson, Justin Bieber, Kesha, Fifth Harmony, and Ariana Grande — among so many others.
Tranter gave props to makeup artist Darian Darling, for the look above, which Darling described as “Bleached brows and a Swarovski encrusted graphic cat eye.”
Tranter is equally grateful to Gomez and fellow songwriting genius Julia Michaels too.
Gomez presented Tranter with the Southern California ACLU Bill of Rights Award for powerful and effective activism in the LGBTQ arena.
