In the one-hour special “Dolly Parton: Here She Comes Again!,” ABC News correspondent Robin Roberts interviews the country music icon at her famed home in Nashville. ABC describes the interview as “an intimate look at the life and career” of Parton, who for more than 60 years has entertained audiences around the world with her “talent, wit, and trademark style.”
The 73-year-old singer/songwriter isn’t resting on her laurels; she’s dropping new music and spreading her wings across the dance/electronic music genre with her #1 Billboard hit, Faith, with the Swedish electronic music duo Galantis.
For their “Faith” music video (see below), Parton dresses up like an angelic bus driver and sings the chorus which includes the lyric: “Let me shine and radiate.”
Dolly Parton: Here She Comes Again! airs Tuesday, November 12 at 10 pm, right after black-ish at 9 pm. Parton is also promoting her Netflix series, Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings (eight stories inspired by eight of her songs including “Jolene”), which premieres on Friday, November 22.
