In fact it’s Gomillion who defines the mood and tone of the picture so perfectly, commenting: “Obviously Contemplating power moves.” Yes, that’s it – the strength and composure, the stillness and yet the kinetic energy within that’s almost visible.
This Hustlers pic may ultimately take its place next to iconic images of Al Pacino as Scarface and Marlon Brando as The Godfather.
For comparison it’s far more iconic than even this very beautiful photo, which has all the beauty but lacks the context and energy to be considered iconic.
