The Houston Astros are leading the 2019 MLB World Series 3-2 against the Washington Nationals. One day before the “must-win” Game 6 (Tuesday, October 29), injured Astros pitcher Lance McCullers, Jr. shared a video of himself in uniform and on the mound delivering 90 mph pitches.
Astros fans are psyched to see the 2017 World Series Champ back on the mound and already cheering him on for a 2020 World Series win.
Back in that 90 mph club!! First live today went well! Bless up 🙏❄️ #SIUEFA pic.twitter.com/UeGs7G3p52

In November 2018, the 2017 World Series champion McCullers underwent Tommy John surgery on his right elbow to repair a torn UCL, and has missed the entire 2019 season. Astros fans are beyond excited to see McCullers back on the mound, albeit not at the World Series. Fellow Astros pitcher Collin McHugh chimed in and wrote: “LET’S GOOOOOOO”!
Game 6 of the 2019 World Series between the Washington Nationals and Houston Astros will broadcast live from Minute Maid Park on Tuesday, October 29 at 8 pm on FOX.
