College football fans expect an uphill battle for the Arkansas Razorbacks football team (2-5) when they face the undefeated Alabama Crimson Tide (7-0) at Bryant-Denny Stadium. All eyes are on Arkansas’ new starting quarterback Nick Starkel, who is replacing Ben Hicks for the big game.
Starkel, a graduate transfer from Texas A&M, made a bold fashion statement pre-season when he wore a ripped Justin Bieber t-shirt at practice — see above. Starkel received mixed reviews for the shirt; some Bieblievers were mad that he ripped it.
Starkel’s look caused such a stir on social media, someone Photoshopped Bieber on stage wearing a photo of Starkel wearing the shirt — see above. Starkel commented: “Preciate the love.” And yes, he knows it’s fake.
The Arkansas vs. Alabama game will be broadcast live on Saturday, October 26 at 7 pm on ESPN.
