In the Modern Family episode “Can’t Elope,” Haley (Sarah Hyland) and Dylan’s (Reid Ewing) plan to quietly elope before the babies are born doesn’t go smoothly. Meanwhile, Jay (Ed O’Neill) continues to try to get his new business (high-end whimsical dog beds) off the ground by courting an Instagram celebrity, Arthur Goodboy, a dog who has over 5 million followers. Jay says, “One photo with him with the product would be a game changer.” Jay invites the dog and his owner, Orson Fundt, to the house to test out Jay’s Dog Beds by Stella.
Arthur Goodboy owner Orson Fundt is portrayed by Thomas Lennon. He’s known for his roles on Santa Clarita Diet (Principal Novak), Lethal Weapon (Leo Getz), The Odd Couple (Felix Unger), Sean Saves the World (Max Thompson), Reno 911! (Lt. Jim Dangle), among others.
