eCreamery is an online ice cream store that encourages customers to personalize favorite flavors with fun labels and send them as gifts. (Gelato and sorbet are also in the offering.) eCreamery’s tagline is “For a life less vanilla.” The founders, Becky App and Abby Jordan of Omaha, Nebraska, who gave up successful corporate careers to follow their entrepreneurial endeavor, pitched their dessert delivery business on Shark Tank in September 2012. They went into the Tank seeking an investment of $250,000 in exchange for 33 percent equity but, alas, they did not scoop up a deal.

After Shark Tank, eCreamery was in the news when The Sage of Omaha, Warren Buffett and his friend Sir Paul McCartney stopped in the eCreamery brick and mortar store and ordered a cup and a shake (see photo below).
