In the A Million Little Things episode “The Rosary,” when Maggie (Allison Miller) goes in for life-changing surgery, her friends are surprised when her mother Patricia (Melora Hardin) shows up. The unexpected arrival leads to a tense first meeting with Gary (James Roday). Meanwhile, in a waiting room, after taking a suicide prevention flyer, Rome (Romany Malco) meets a young man named P.J. They have a lot in common.
Rome’s new friend PJ is portrayed by Chandler Riggs. The 19-year-old actor is best known for his role as Carl Grimes on The Walking Dead. He will appear next on the big screen in the crime thriller Inherit the Viper with Josh Hartnett.
