The 2019 Hallmark movie Valentine in the Vineyard is a sequel to the 2016 movie Autumn in the Vineyard. In Autumn, Nate (Brendan Penny) and Frankie (Rachael Leigh Cook) both claimed ownership to the beautiful vineyard at Sorrento Farms. While arguing over who is the rightful owner, they fell in love. In Valentine in the Vineyard, Nate proposes and Frankie says yes (that’s not a big spoiler) but there are a number of twists before they say I do.
[The movies are based on St. Helena Vineyard book series]
Valentine in the Vineyard was filmed at Naramata. It’s located in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, Canada. The topography of the semi-desert region is similar to that of Southern California and Southern Italy, two other places known for producing great wine. The vineyards and wineries there are collectively known as the Naramata Bench. Valentine in the Vineyard premieres on Hallmark Channel on Saturday, February 2 at 8 pm.
