Under the Weather isa line of pop up personal tents ideal for spectators at outdoor sporting events like kids’ soccer games. Not only do the pods keep the spectator dry but warm too. It’s generally 35 degrees warmer in the pod due to body heat. The inventor of Under the Weather, Rick Pescovitz from Cincinnati, Ohio, pitched his outdoor product on Shark Tank in September 2017. He went into the Tank seeking an investment of $600,000 in exchange for 10 percent equity. They accepted an offer from Mark Cuban: $600,000 for 15 percent with the option to buy another 10 percent after 12 months.
