In The Conners episode “O Sister, Where Art Thou?” When Becky (Lecy Goranson) helps Harris keep a secret from Darlene (Sara Gilbert), it opens up a can of worms that causes a rift between the two sisters. Meanwhile, Jackie (Laurie Metcalf) supports her boyfriend Peter (Matthew Broderick) with his Nordic history project, and Dan (John Goodman) reunites with Louise, an old friend who’s just moved back to Lanford and is working at Casa Bonita.
The old friend is portrayed by Katey Sagal. She’s best known for her roles on Superior Donuts (Chicago police officer Randy DeLuca), Sons of Anarchy (Gemma Teller Morrow), 8 Simple Rules with the late great John Ritter(Cate Hennessy), Married with Children (Peg Bundy), and Mary with Mary Tyler Moore (Jo Tucker), among others. Sagal is currently starring in Season 9 of Shameless as Dr. Ingrid Jones. The Conners airs Tuesdays at 8 pm on ABC, right before The Kids Are Alright.
