In the Single Parents Christmas episode “The Magic Box”, while Graham (Tyler Wladis) begins to think that Santa Claus maybe isn’t real after all, his mom Angie (Leighton Meester) has an awkward gift exchange with her new boyfriend Owen. Owen shows up unexpectedly at Angie’s house on Christmas Eve with a gift, which has her scrambling to find a present for him at the last minute.
Angie’s boyfriend Owen is portrayed by Andy Favreau. As an actor he’s known for his roles on Champions (Matthew Cook), Code Black (Charlie Larssen), Will & Grace (JJ Wise), Aquarius (Dennis Wilson), and The Mick (Kai, SEE LINK ABOVE), among others. In real life, Andy is the brother of Jon Favreau, political commentator and the former speechwriter for President Barack Obama. Single Parents airs Wednesdays at 9:30 pm on ABC, right after Modern Family and right before A Million Little Things.
