In The Real Housewives of Atlanta episode “Sisterhood of the Traveling Peaches,” the ladies travel to Destin, Florida for a girls’ trip. It was supposed to be a couples trip hosted by Nene Leakes and her husband Gregg — but the men bailed. When at the Destin condo, Cynthia Bailey grills Eva Marcille about her bachelorette party in Miami — which Eva says was a surprise, but she knew enough to invite Porsha Williams but not Nene, which is awkward. (Eva asked Nene to speak at her wedding!)
[Remember Porsha’s song “Flatline”?]
But before the trip, newly pregnant Porsha works at her fiance Dennis McKinley’s restaurant, The Hot Dog Factory in Smyrna, to win over his mother’s approval. As Porsha says, she intended to just “fake work for about 30 minutes” but ended up working “like an eight-hour shift” at the restaurant. While in the kitchen, when Porsha starts eating an Oreo, Mama McKinley tells her “that’s a violation.” It’s true, employees eating in food preparation areas in the kitchen is a common health code violation. Good thing Porsha isn’t a real employee! The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays at 8 pm on Bravo.
