Lockstraps is a line of lockable tie-down straps. So when you tie-down your furniture or motorcycle on the back of your pickup truck or trailer, you can rest easy knowing that it’s not just secure and tied-down but also locked so a thief can’t just untie your goods and swipe them. The inventor of the patented Lockstraps, Jeff Cranny of Temecula, California, is pitching his business on Shark Tank on November 25. Cranny says the idea of Lockstraps was “born out of necessity.” In 2009, Cranny stepped away from his truck for just a moment, and when he returned his motorcycle and his gear were missing. When he went to the store for a solution, he had a tie-down in one hand and a lock in another, and “the idea for Lockstraps was born.”
