Balm Chicky Balm Balm is a line of flavorful lip balm reminiscent of the 1970s when no one was caught dead without lip balm — and a comb in their back pocket. What makes Balm Chicky unique (other than the flavors: Juicy Melons, Wild Mountain Honey, Huge Cucumber & Mint, Sweet Baby Ginger, and Hot Chocolate Love) is the product design. Each tube of Balm Chicky is double-sided, so you can share with a friend without sharing germs. (They have a patent on the dual-supply product container.) The two founders of Balm Chicky Balm Balm, Elizabeth Moskow and Abby Schwalb, pitched their business on Shark Tank in February 2015. Kevin O’Leary didn’t hold back his distaste for the product. They didn’t get a deal on Shark Tank but they did land a deal with Target just six weeks after the episode aired.
Alas, three years later and the company website is no longer active. According to LinkedIn, Moskow is currently Culinary Director at Sterling-Rice Group, a marketing company in Boulder, Colorado, and Abby Schwalb is a freelance special event contractor in Portland, Oregon.
