On Season 7 of Married at First Sight, two young professionals living in Texas, Bobby Dodd and Danielle Bergman, volunteered to marry each other without knowing each other. Sometimes the arrangement works out, and sometimes it doesn’t (Tristan and Mia). In Bobby and Danielle’s case, it worked out. On the episode “I Still Do?”, the couples get together to answer the question after hitting the three-month marriage mark.

Not only are Bobby and Danielle still married but they’re expecting their first child together, too. That’s great news but how will the couple divvy up the parenting responsibilities? Remember in episode 4 when Danielle, a software sales account executive, found out Bobby, a construction project manager, wants his wife to stay home and take care of kids? Danielle said, “That is something we’re very different on.” (See clip below.)
Bobby’s mom and grandmother were both stay-at-home mothers. When Danielle voiced her concerns about Bobby’s expectation of her as a future mother, Bobby reassured her by saying “Whatever it is that you want to do, your goals, I want to help you meet those goals.” Hmm. Will he change his mind once the baby arrives? Married at First Sight airs Tuesdays at 9 pm on Lifetime.
